The location was particularly good there, close to the railway station. Besides, it was near to the Engine Inn at Cark, pubs in South Furness peninsula and Cartmel.

The location of the hotel was great and pleasant, next to the river. They gave us a triple room with the bathroom, double bed, as for instance. Fantastic and super staff we were amazed with.
Where was menu?.

Johnathan, the pub landlord, was fantastic, sharing tips about local fishing spots. The surrounding area was great for cycling, and we loved chatting with Monty, the pub dog.
My wife says that the rooms need some refreshing. A suggestion would be to improve soundproofing for families with children, so we can all sleep soundly.

Comfortable stay with great atmosphere
The staff were cute, and my room wasvery comfy and tidy with a lovely view of the garden. Breakfast was delicious with local ingredients, and I appreciated the casual dining atmosphere that allowed for interaction with locals. One thing to improve would be the limited parking space, which can be a challenge during busy times.

I stayed in the Triple Room with Garden View. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfy. The bed felt great after a long day, and I loved the little touches like proper milk for my tea. The bathroom was tidy, and I had everything I needed. It was pretty quiet at night, a plus!

We enjoyed a hearty breakfast made from local ingredients- smashing! The atmosphere throughout was warm and inviting. Plus, meeting Monty, the chief dog, was the cherry on top of our stay. Will definitely be back!
But let's not sugarcoat it-the beds were absolute bricks and the karaoke kept us up all night! The coffee machine looked like it came from a dusty corner shop. Still managed to have a laugh though!
